Q&A:

Q: What do you do with the waste?

A: We understand the importance of keeping your space tidy and free of waste. Our team will take care of bagging the waste and placing it in the trash bin you leave out for us, so you won’t have to lift a finger! If you forget to leave a trash bin or can outside, don't worry—we will triple bag the waste and leave it in a visible, out-of-the-way spot for you. Additionally, there may be situations where you require us to take the waste with us. If that is the case, please reach out via email, and we’ll do our best to find a suitable solution for you. Your convenience and satisfaction are our top priorities!

Q: Do you send me a photo of my closed and latched gate?

Q: How do you make sure you don't spread diseases like Parvovirus from other people's yards to mine?

A: We sure do! We will send you a photo of the closed and latched gate upon service completion to let you know your dog is secure and your cleaning has been successfully completed!

A: We use a high-quality veterinary-grade sanitizer on our tools and shoes after every cleaning. Our sanitizer will kill Parvovirus, Kennel cough and other diseases. Your pet's health is very important to us!

Q: How do we know when Scoopa D'Poop will be out to clean our yard?

A: We maximize our routes the day before service, in order keep costs low, if there is a specific day that either works for you or doesn't work for you, let us know and we will work with your schedule if possible. We will send out a text about 60 min before the cleaning.

Q: What if my zip code isn't in your service area?

A: Call or email us and we will do what we can to help! If you are close to one of our service areas, we can make an exception and enter you into our system manually.

Q: Do you clean up after animals other than dogs?

A: While dogs are our main focus, we are willing to consider other types of clean-ups, give us a call or email with your question and we will see if we can find a solution!

Q: What if Scoopa D'Poop can't make it out on our scheduled day?

A: We will let you know if we need to reschedule your appointment. There are a few reasons we would reschedule: Blizzard conditions, Rainy days, Thunderstorms, Below-zero conditions are all examples of times we won't be able to come out. If it's not safe to clean your yard, we won't be out. If there is an unsafe dog or condition in the yard, we will let you know what happened and what we will need to do to move forward with the service.

Q: Do you offer late night or early morning cleanings?

A: We do not offer services during early mornings or in the evenings when the sun is not up. We have to be able to see the waste to clean the waste. However, if the sun is up, we are working! Note: cloudy days are fine :)

Q: Do you offer weekend appointments?

A: At this time we do not offer regularly scheduled weekend appointments, we would rather clean your yard during the weekdays, Monday through Friday, making your yard clean to enjoy over the weekend. However, if you have a special event happening in your yard, we would be happy to help make your event special by removing the smelly presents your best friend has been leaving!

Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes we are insured by Hiscox, by way of Progressive!

Q: Are you bonded?

A: Yes we are bonded by Surety1!

Q: What's the difference between an initial cleanup and our first scheduled cleaning?

A: The initial cleanup is an extensive and time-consuming process to catch up on waste cleanups that haven't been done for an extended period. These cleanups can be costly and labor-intensive.

Your first scheduled cleaning is a regular cleaning that starts your subscription. The initial cleanup and the first scheduled cleaning can happen on the same day. However, the fees we waive for the initial cleanup cover the waste cleanup that goes beyond a standard cleaning in a well-maintained yard.

When you start a subscription, you will be charged for your first scheduled cleaning unless you use a valid code to reduce the cost of the first month. We are currently offering to waive initial cleaning costs, which are usually billed at $30 per 30 minutes of labor.
